Garden variety angels (GVA) are the most caring, are ready to assist those who ask for help, and are nearest the material world.

The GVA are ninth in the Choir of Angels. It's their job to deliver the prayer to God and God's answers and other messages to humans.

How a few don'ts help sketching

• Don't draw features - like nose, chin, eyes - too bulky and too blocky.
• Don't forget that features are parts of a face. A face is part of a skull. Parts or features make up the whole image.
• Don't draw hair stand by strand. Think of hair as a mass. Look at people with hair on their heads. Observe it. Remember it. Practice drawing it - a lot.
• Don't go for sketching lots of detail. First you need to draw the big, main proportions before you do a drawing and put in details.






• Don't forget to practice sketching and drawing every chance you get. That's how artists better their drawing skills.
