Simple Dragon Drawings Stretch Back in Time
Simple dragon drawings are as close as the nighttime sky. Draco, the dragon, in astronomy, is an ancient constellation of the northern heavens, its figure representing a serpent. Alpha Draconis, a fainter star of the group, is notable in having been the pole star when presumably the Great Pyramid in Egypt was built.
On a cloudless night go outside and look up. Make sure you are safe. And see if you can spot Draco. Be sure to have a flashlight with you to illuminate the way. And bring the sketch with you to map the sky. Draw what you see. You are an artist.

Another way of creating dragon drawings is to start off with a "skeleton diagram" like this...

Notice that you "see" movement the artist is intending. "Observe" that there appears a massing together of the objects in view through the few and strong lines. The artist is capable of rendering these few lines because of "remembering" all that s/he saw and observed everyday before this moment.
Now it is your turn to try the simple drawings.
