Wise Up These Weak Brain Skills
Sign-Up to Stop Struggling

The simplest way into the Case Gallery wasn't for me. My feet sign-up to tangle with a welcome mat. There I was speeding like a locomotive toward a wall of framed drawings and sketches.

What Elizabeth learned from Walt Disney

cartoon elephant

Screeching to a halt with my nose steaming breath onto the glassed image, I saw birds from Sleeping Beauty. Nah, I didn't slam my head. Elizabeth Case was a bird artist on the 1956 animated movie.

Is K.I.S.S. going into the drawing?

Keep It Simple Straightforward. Stay on message. Pay attention. Focus. Make it better. So no matter what you do in art, you're going to need these skills. And here you will learn HOW to build your brain through cognitive thinking skills to do it yourself. And you can use it for the rest of your life. Yes, I mean that.

What Disney wants from you

Disney wants to sign-up and hire "people who can draw; not people who cartoon. You have to know how to interpret human movement. If you are drawing a teapot, that nose has to twitch. The ears have to go back and forth like flaps. Then I did the jester with striped sleeves; the stripes are very difficult." said Elizabeth.

Does passion come out as planning and character in your artwork?

Because no matter whether you doodle, draw a quick sketch, photograph, mix media, or digital art you're going to need this information. The last thing you need is artwork that will go glug, glug and suck your desire down with it.

As Jess O'Leary, styrofoam repurposed and layout artist says:

"I learned three things about working memory in the first newsletter:

Lesson 1: Am I clear? Does my art tell a story? Use one action to communicate the character found in the artwork. (Deep, huh?) I'm getting better crafting mood and attitude.

I am a subscriber to the free newsletter. As a subscriber Bill and Malla write me notes each time I submit new art. Dude, that is priceless professional feedback!

Lesson 2: It doesn't cost anything and I get these powerful brain building, smarts-making materials. That alone is reason to subscribe to the newsletter.

Lesson 3: How to figure out if this solution of mine is the simplest way to do it. Our brains are hardwired with information. And that hasn't changed in all these centuries. So instead of fighting with my human brain I'm learning how to encourage and interact with it."

There's also another dimension to this whole story

The art of it is getting inside the brain. Your brain and the brains of the people who will see your art. The only way you can know these precise psychological triggers is included in our powerful monthly newsletter. You have to sign-up to get them.

A tiny insight into what you learn in the newsletter

  • What professional artists do before drawing a single line.
  • Fresh puzzles and brain teasers.
  • How to develop art that people besides your mother would like.
  • Grip the viewer's attention and focus varying tone and point of view.
  • Which elements are part of your must-have memory recall.
  • How working with chunks betters artwork.
  • When to use common sense with exaggeration.
  • Why the first sketch matters.
  • The intense power of staying with "it" longer.

What makes this compelling artist's newsletter different

Reason 1: I routinely produce 20-30 pieces of commercial art, animation art, drawings, sketches, cartoons and fine art illustration a month.

Reason 2: I attack problems head-on using cognitive thinking skills repeatedly. I have a no-nonsense teaching style.

Reason 3: Malla, cognitive skills trainer and my partner, writes the logical, step-by-step system that I use. Art puzzles and brain teaser are to-the-point inspiration with clear instructions.

I can tell you, you're going to love it. Your head will spin with what you learn. And you'll wonder why you didn't realize the "obvious" before.
