Art Submission Guidelines There are a few things you should know before submitting ... Following these guidelines for our gallery will help us accept your art, get it online faster, and will also make your art look its best.
Each drawing or sketch picture must be ORIGINAL and it MUST BE YOURS.
The art must be visible and it MUST BE CREATED BY YOU NOT PURCHASED ART.
- Explain how you prepared the artwork, where the idea came from, and a tip that will help make it easier for other artists to have fun, prepare, color, finish, display, or frame their own art. You can write about the medium you used to create the art.
You can write about what you love about this piece of your art; what your art means to you; or any other information you would like to share. Your write-up is REALLY important and should be a few sentences! It doesn't matter if you flunked English. The write-up does NOT have to be perfect.
- Your art does NOT have to be perfect. Creativity and a few sentences about the art you submit are equally important.
- No vulgarity.
- Art copied from other websites or other sources will NOT be accepted as this is a copyright infringement.
- Remember to upload the art as indicated on the submission form. It's best to resize your photograph or image to a maximum 300 pixels wide. Make sure you keep the aspect ratio of the height (most photo editing software like Photoshop, Picasa, and others can do it automatically) so that the image is not distorted.
