How Satan Can Amplify Fantasy Sketches

But first let me tell you a bit about my interpretation of Satan fantasy sketches.

Satan is to be chained in the abyss for one thousand years, and then released to run amuck and seal his doom. God will break his spirit, stop his tyranny and end his reign.

The full title of this piece is "The Toothless Serpent Satan Being Chained in the Abyss". I tried to capture the action of the moment.

I created a pen sketch which I colored in washable markers so that they blended. Then I added highlights to the figures with colored pencils. It took me an hour to complete the whole piece. Usually, I spend more time doing more detail. And I plan to send in more of my artwork, God willing. It might take me awhile.

I have always loved fantasy art, and think it started when I was a boy visiting my Grandpa's house. He had me draw a dinosaur. This captured my imagination. Today I think that dragon lore originated from dinosaurs.

My favorite areas of interest are science, science fiction fantasy, and the Bible, a most amazing book. My current inspiration is the Book of Revelation. I also love comic books of any time period. William Blake is my favorite artist.

For years I drew primarily in black and white. Currently, I am trying to expand my work with the use of color.
