I am just getting started in digital art.
What products do you recommend?

Getting started in digital artwork:

Number 1.You need to begin with image/graphics editing software.

Whether you work in Windows XP, Windows Vista, or MAC, there is downloadable software available at various price points. Most offer a product download trial. Purchase and other information is available through the manufacturer.

Within our community of artists the following programs are most popular:
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe Photoshop Elements
  • Corel Paint Shop Photo

Image/graphics editing programs are best learned by digging in and playing around. Nothing you create is wrong. It is only an experiment in your creativity.

Number 2. Take a peek at our most popular digital clipart to see what other artists find most useful.

Number 3. My partner, Malla, and I make available a hidden resources site not available for public viewing. The links can only be found in our monthly newsletter. It's free but you do have to sign-up to get it.
