Apple iPad
Apple iPad with its iOS operating system boasts over 200 new user features including Notification Center, iMessage, banner style instead of pop-up alert style notifications system.
Plus iCloud stores everything and pushes them to all your devices wirelessly.
Let's say you buy a song, snap a photo or edit a calendar entry on your iPad. iCloud makes sure whatever it is appears on your Mac, iPhone and iPod touch without your having to do a thing. And Photo Booth is built in. It lets users make photos quirky just for fun and ramp up your creativity in a way different from
drawing tablets.
Sleeker, lighter, thinner - it only weighs 1.33 pounds - Apple integrates new thinner glass technology that makes the latest model stronger with a battery lasting up to 10 hours. It's designed to be an extension of the user.
My partner likes the amazing 10-hour battery life because it's enough juice for commuting into the Big Apple for a week, a movie-watching-all-night-marathon, or one oceanic flight.
For me, it felt comfortable and made surfing the Web, checking email, watching movies and reading books utterly natural.
As a visual artist I really like images to be extraordinarily crisp - like in real life.
Even if I'm in low light places like a commuter train or plane. There doesn't seem to be any difference in the resolution whether in portrait, landscape or upside down.
Not even if I'm showing something to my partner on the Apple iPad tablet computer across the aisle or across the office. Because I don't like to fuss around with hardware, I especially like that the iPad tablet has a Home button I can press and it wakes up instantly due to the flash storage that accesses data quickly.
How about those 2 cameras?
It's probably more than I'll ever need, but the HD and versatility designed for FaceTime video calling work so well together it's like having bi-location ability for all. A few of my relatives are gamers, and they are sold on it for maps, gaming and other apps for every turn, tilt and twist they make. For me, I like to get a printed copy of certain emails, web pages, and documents.
Now I can do that with a few taps, and wirelessly without any drivers to install, or cables to connect print. All with the Apple iPad.
